In the language of baseball, a TRABUCO is organized equipment with the best players in each position. That was EL TRABUCO VENEZOLANO, a band where figured the best musicians and singers, not only of the generation of the seventy, but also of the previous ones. It was a meeting of people interested in plays excellent music, to release the repressed thing and to propose new ideas in the fields of the rate and the harmony. They tried to find a new loudness a new proposal totally independent, with this project all the interpreters wanted to participate, and through the grouping participated more than sixty excellent musicians.

The first controversies arose when the interested in the SALSA rhythm were not very comfortable when trying to dance this music. Irritated, they protested saying that It wasn’t jazz !!!. On the contrary, who enjoyed the jazz said that that was SALSA. The certain thing was that it had elements of the SALSA, JAZZ ROCK and other rhythms. Also, as very special adjustments to traditional subjects of Venezuelan music, like El Muñeco de la Ciudad, Compadre Pacho and othes musical master pieces. Only the people interested in the future and the quality of this new sound could understand this New Vision.

For EL TRABACO VENEZOLANO, a very important element, that they did not have to their side, was the producer of the established record companies, that based on the assertion of which to the public it does not like the experiments, did not smell the commercial thing and, therefore, they did not support this initiative. Nevertheless, Alberto Naranjo, drummer, percussionist, director and main arrestment, the famous percussionist FRANK "EL PAVO" HERNANDEZ, Cesar Miguel Rondón journalist and writer, and the independent producers Domingo Alvarez and Orlando Montiel, they had much faith in this concept and between all they were reach  to record seven long play (five in study and two live), these LP have stayed as a strong historical reference, an authentic movement and true pieces of collection.
