The Lost And Found were one of the several obscure Texas psychedelic groups recorded 

by the International Artists label, most famous as the home of the 13th Floor Elevators.  

Like the Elevators, the Lost And Found's psychedelic sound was assuredly drug-inspired; 

one of the reasons they signed with International Artists, in fact, was because the label offered 

to have its lawyers help clear three of the band members of LSD-related charges (a serious offense in the mid-'60s). 

The group broke up after only one album, Forever Lasting Plastic Words, which 

(like all the other International Artists recordings) became a highly valued collectible years later

"FOREVER LASTING PLASTIC WORDS"

The title is given variously as "Forever Lasting Plastic Words" (which written in the upper right corner 

of the front cover in a black circle) and "Everybody's Here" (which is written on the back cover). 

No album title is listed on the labels of the official International Artists editions .

Originally known as The Misfits, this band came together in Houston in 1965. 

They changed their name to Lost And Found just prior to commencing a six month residency 

at Houston's Living Eye club. They became friendly with Roky Erickson, who introduced them 

to International Artists, who signed them for an album. The result was further evidence of Roky's influence. 

They covered Don't Fall Down from The Elevators' first LP and imitated their jug sound on Let Me Be. 

The album also included a couple of instrumentals of note; Zig Zag Blues dedicated to the founder 

of Zig Zag Magazine and Living Eye dedicated to Houston's Living Eye Teen Club...(Fuzz Acid & Flowers)
