Description
LOTUS, THE: I'll Be Waiting/Cute Little June (Diamond 254, HONG KONG 1967) Stunning Hong Kong 60's garage pop 2-sider! They must have been the Asian equivalent of the Hollies! The melancholic "I'll Be Waiting" was included many years ago on PROJECT BLUE #4 - DIAMONDS FROM THE EAST a compilation that I did back then for the MISTY LANE label. The equally cool flipside "Cute Little June" remains uncomped. The Lotus made one more 45 including versions of Beau Brummels' "Just A Little" and The Gants "Spoonful Of Sugar". The cool PS comes with the usual creases (thin paper), but is otherwise in nice condition. VERY RARE!! Strict grading. Record(/Sleeve) = VG(+)/VG+
I use the standard grading system, so M (mint), EX (excellent), VG (very good), G (good) etc. +(+)/-(-) = slightly better/worse then... Some Abbreviations that I use: wo(b)c = writing on (back)cover; wol = writing on label; toc/tol = tape on cover/label; rw = ringwear; soc/sol = sticker on cover/label; nc = no center; co(h) = cut out (hole).
