LOU DONALDSON: "BLUES WALK" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #1593. Original 1958 MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels. The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides with the "EAR" symbol and RVG stamper in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Lou Donaldson/alto sax; Herman Foster/piano; 'Peck' Morrison/bass; Dave Bailey/drums; Ray Barretto/conga. The thick laminated cover is in VG+ shape & displays nicely. Small name & price written on back side. No seam splits, no cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23. The vinyl is in VG condition, very glossy in spite of some visible wear & scratches.
