LOU DONALDSON: Lou Takes Off LP EX/EX RVG 9M circa ’66-67 MONO reissue BLUE NOTE

NOTES: MONO BLT-1591: the provenance of this album has been a challenge: it is a non-deep groove MONO LP, reissued just before (I assume) the Liberty Records transition; however, there is no “inc” after Blue Note, no ® under the E, the address on the label is 47 West 63rd NYC, / the matices show RVG both sides / on the other hand there is no Plastylite P “ear”, the matrices show 9M only on the A-side, the inner-sleeve address is 43 West 61st, New York 23, NY (no USA) / so I let you research further the pressing date and comments are appreciated re these identifiers


CONDITION: both sides play great, very few minor pops both sides; visually shows minor hairlines & scuffing (sonically would grade M-, visually would grade EXCELLENT / cover is EXCELLENT, not sealed but still in original but loose shrink, shows wear, bumping to one corner; what I believe to be the original innersleeve shows no splits / please supersize photo of actual item at very top of this webpage and examine all 7 pictures carefully for condition / see photo for track listing
