LOU DONALDSON: "SWING AND SOUL" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, BLP 1566. Vintage USA MONO vinyl pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63rd NYC address on both labels. DEEP GROOVE labels on both sides. "EAR" etched & RVG stamped in the trail-off on both sides. Heavy vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Lou Donaldson/alto sax; Herman Foster/piano; 'Peck' Morrison/bass; Dave Bailey/drums; Ray Barretto/conga. The vinyl is in VG condition (high gloss, some light scuffs & thin marks). The thick laminated cardboard cover is in VG to VG- shape. There is some light discoloration/staining on back side. Some of bottom seam taped very discreetly. Top right edge has minor 1" seam split. No writing, no cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23.
