Title:   “Gravy Train”

 

Label:   BLUE NOTE.  Label is blue/white with blue text.  Stereo pressing on medium thick vinyl, without deep groove.   Catalog number is BST 84079.  

 

Address printed on both labels is BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC* NEW YORK USA. 

 

Address on cover is BLUE NOTE RECORDS, INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23.

 

 “RVG” and “ear” symbol are etched in the runout on both sides.

Condition: 

 

DISC:  Vinyl retains 100% of original gloss, has been played a small number of times and handled with care.  Grades nice VG+ to VG++ with a couple light hairline scuffs on each side that do not affect the listening experience other than to produce a few soft tics.  No serious marks or problems.  Fidelity is superb.  Labels are clean.  A very fine playing copy.             

 

JACKET:   Jacket is nice VG+ with no major problems.   Front artwork is clean and bright, with some light ringwear.  Top seam is intact except approx 1 inch split at top right corner opening.  Bottom seam has approx 6 inch split at bottom center.  Reverse has some ring wear.  No writing or stickers.  Overall a very presentable jacket to accompany the nice sounding disc.
