Here's another one of those cool Northern Soul tunes from big-voiced singer Lou Johnson. As with many of these soul 45s, it was the non-chart side which has, in the fullness of time, become the classic, while the hit 'A' side has become a forgotten oldie.

In this case, it's the song "Unsatisfied" that's stood the test of time, while his 'hit' of "A Time To Love - A Time To Cry" has become forgotten. One thing to remember about this November 1965 'hit' is that it's the VOCAL version of the Chris Barber instrumental hit "Petite Fleur." Betcha didn't know it had words!
