Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the fourth LP by former Velvet Underground leader Lou Reed, a live album released in 1974. Put out after his 1973 LP Berlin received poor reviews and failed to sell, the record features versions of four songs from Reed's Velvets days, along with one track from his previous LP. It was recorded in New York City in late December 1973. The supporting cast includes former Frost guitarist Dick Wagner. The gatefold jacket has light ring, corner, spine, seam, and edge wear, and a former owner’s name written in pen on the front cover (see photo) -- EX(-). The disc is clean with some light scraping and scuffing, and plays with occasional light surface noise -- EX(+). The same former owner’s name is written in pen on the side 1 label (see photo).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
