Desirable original 1972 pressing on the orange RCA Victor "Dynaflex" label - not a modern pressing of any kind!
About the record: Transformer was produced by David Bowie and  Mick Ronson, As in Reed's Velvet Underground days, the Andy Warhol connection remained strong. According to Reed, Warhol told him he should write a song about someone vicious. When Reed asked what he meant by vicious, Warhol replied, "Oh, you know, like I hit you with a flower", resulting in the song "Vicious".
Vinyl Condition: VG/VG+  (fully tested and it plays very well with no issues, has full gloss and nice labels, has a some superficial marks that have no affect) Cover Condition: VG (solid with no splits or cut-outs, has edge, corner, ring wear and ink wear) This is a great copy of a true classic!
