Description
This is a 1947 COLUMBIA RECORDS U.S. SET OF 4 78 RPM RECORDS PACKAGED IN MANILLA SLEEVES BOUND INTO A HARD COVERED BOOK containing eight historic 1920s-era recordings from Louis Armstrong's Hot Five. It is number 18 in the Columbia Jazz Classics series of 78 RPM reissue sets, Columbia Records catalog number C-139.
Album #18 in a series of reissues of the records that made Jazz history.
The wording "Hot Five Vol 2" appears as part of artwork (the pennants on the streamer).

Condition of play surfaces of all four record is a real nice EX with all original gloss with a very few very light inconsequential surface marks across the four records. Records have no warps, cracks, or chips. a couple of the labels have a small amount of wear along their perimeters. Condition of hard cardboard book is VG+ with some contact wear and some wear along the edges and on the corners, and some tiny black spots and a sticker advertising Columbia sapphire phono needles on the front of the first manila inner sleeve.
