Description
This is a 1947 COLUMBIA RECORDS U.S. SET OF 4 - 78 RPM RECORDS, PACKAGED IN MANILLA SLEEVES BOUND INTO A HARD COVERED BOOK containing eight historic 1920s-era recordings from Louis Armstrong's Hot Five. It is number 18 in the Columbia Jazz Classics series of 78 RPM reissue sets that made Jazz history. Columbia Records catalog number C-139.
The wording "Hot Five Vol 2" appears as part of artwork (the pennants on the streamer).

Condition of play surfaces of all four record is a real nice EX with all original gloss with a very few very light inconsequential surface marks across the four records. Records have no warps or cracks. One record has some minor chips on outer rim that had no issues with play. All of the labels are very clean and neat, but the last one(side 8) has some small black marks. Condition of hard cardboard book is VG+ with some edge wear to top and along spine and some mild wear to the corners. The plain back has age related discoloration and soiling. I tried to capture all this in the photos, so take a look at those for more info.
