HERE IS a fabulous and relentlessly HOT record: the 1930 "LOUISIANA BO BO" and "SNAG IT" by THE GEORGIA COTTON PICKERS. A romping big band, led by pianist George Tynes, they play as if their lives depended on it. This is a "must have" item if you are into any species of Hot Jazz at all! "Louisiana Bo Bo" is especially rambunctious. Recorded electrically for the Columbia "budget" label Harmony.
This original 1930 Velvet-Tone 2127-V is in clean EE- on "Bo Bo," straight E- (a little wear) on "Snag It." Some scuffs and scratches.

These records come from my private collection, which I have been accumulating since 1967, and now am downsizing! My highest priority in these eBay auctions is to give you the best possible idea of a record’s true condition and aesthetic value. I always post at least four clear images, showing the record fore and aft, a close-up of the label, and the whole disc, warts and all. If my purple prose won’t cut it, the pictures will! Shipping is done with expert care.
