Description
This is an original used LP vinyl of Love’s ‘Da Capo’ released on Elektra records in 1967 (Serial Number: EKS-74005). This is the first UK red label pressing in which the UK disc came with the U.S. sleeve. This is an incredibly rare and collectable item on this format. *Please note that this item is listed in the ‘Record Collector: Rare Record Price Guide 2006’*I am therefore looking to attract sensible bids on this item from serious customers/collectors. You will not find a better archive copy of this classic and much sought after Psych LP!

The record sleeve is in good overall condition although certain modifications have been made by the previous owner. For example, tape has been put along the edges of the record sleeve, presumably to help protect against scuffs and tears. There are scuffs present to the outer corners of the sleeve however. On the front cover, the previous owner has made an alteration to the serial number in blue biro because it differs with the record inside. This is because the UK disc came with the U.S. sleeve. On the back of the record cover, the previous owner has written his name “Mike Swann†in blue biro in the top left-hand corner. He has also taped 2 reviews of the album (from the 60s) to the cover. These alterations help to give the record sleeve a distinctive and personal charm. The vinyl disc itself is in absolutely mint condition (ie: there are NO scuffs, scratches or marks that impair the audio quality whatsoever) and looks as if it has never been played. It is difficult to imagine finding a copy of this vinyl disc in better condition.
All of my items are posted via Royal Mail / Airmail packaged in cardboard to ensure that no damage is caused to them during transit.*This particular item will be posted via ‘Airsure’ to overseas customers, meaning a slightly higher postage cost but with that comes increased speed and security.* Please note that I have not offered combined postage on multiple items. If you are bidding on several of my items and wish to receive a reduction in postage costs, please contact me BEFORE the auction ends so that we can come to an agreement about the total postage so as to avoid disputes later.
