Description
This is an original used LP vinyl of Love’s ‘Forever Changes’ released on Elektra records in 1967 (Serial Number: EKS 74013 ). This is an original UK red label stereo pressing. This is an extremely rare and collectable item on this format, especially in this condition. *Please note that this item is listed in the ‘Record Collector: Rare Record Price Guide 2006’* I am therefore looking to attract sensible bids on this item from serious customers/collectors. You will not find a better archive copy of this classic and much sought after Psych album!

The record sleeve is in near mint condition. There aren’t any scuffs to the edges or outer corners but there is one slight minor crease to the bottom left hand corner. Overall, looks brand new, which is remarkable given its age. The vinyl disc itself is also in absolutely mint condition (ie: there are NO scuffs, scratches or marks that impair the audio quality whatsoever) having actually never been played!
All of my items are posted via Royal Mail / Airmail packaged in cardboard to ensure that no damage is caused to them during transit. *This particular item will be posted via ‘Airsure’ to overseas customers, meaning a slightly higher postage cost but with that comes increased speed and security.* Please note that I have not offered combined postage on multiple items. On 07-Aug-06 at 20:52:13 BST, seller added the following information: *It has been brought to my attention that this LP is infact a re-pressing from the 70s and that the first UK pressings of this album were released by Elektra with an orange textured label. Future bidders should be aware of this* On 09-Aug-06 at 04:42:02 BST, seller added the following information: *After doing yet more research on the Elektra label, I have now discovered that it was in the late summer of 1969 that the Elektra label changed color to red with white print. The red label with the large "E" logo lasted until about the late summer of 1970 when the label changed design altogether, to a multicolor label with a butterfly design. Therefore, this stereo pressing of Love's 'Forever Changes' was released sometime between the middle of 1969 and 1970, making it at least 36 years old! This is incredible given its immaculate condition* On 12-Aug-06 at 03:44:50 BST, seller added the following information: *The saga continues...I have now been informed by someone in the know that this is infact a re-issue from the late 70s / early 80s. Apparently, about mid-1979, the label reverted to a red label again with the "E" logo in white, but slightly smaller than the logo used in the 1969-70 design. It was also a lighter shade of red than before. Apologies for any confusion this may have caused. Please take this information into account when you are bidding*
