Great original 1966 vinyl 45 pressing of "My Little Red Book" by LOVE. L.A. Garage/Folk/Psychedelic rock band fronted by the legendary, Arthur Lee. LOVE was a band with a rebelious streak, very much ahead of their time. Arthur Lee was very well versed in Rhythm and Blues, which brought a very authentic sound to the band. "My Little Red Book" was written by Burt Bacharach (name misspelled on the label). By today's music standards this performance is super amazing, however, back in the mid 1960s Mr. Bacharach hated this version. Many musicians, Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Jim Morrison admired and loved to jam with LOVE. This Vinyl 45rpm is in NM condition, great sound with lots of gloss.
Also, if you love graphics, the beautiful groovy LOVE logo, the Topless Elektra Lady and the E logo on the sleeve were designed by Elektra Records head designer, William Stanley Harvey. Nice visual treat.
