This is a rare copy of Four Sail from Love of the 1st Press made in Great Britain on the 1st PRESS RARE ELEKTRA ORANGE WITH SILVER LETTERS LABEL. It was printed in very low numbers hence the UK 1st Press been a lot RARER than the US 1st Press.
This is an original UK 1st pressing on the ORANGE Elektra Label with silver lettering and MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN labels of a classic album and superb Love/Elektra collectable.
The vinyl is visually graded in near mint minus in one side and excellent condition in the other. Please see below a description of grades and note that this vinyl is 50 years old that has been played and will not transform into anything different to the stated condition.
The labels are in excellent condition with the silver lettering and Made in Great Britain Polydor records at the bottom. The label in side one has a name and address written in biro.
The not laminated Mc Neil UK press sleeve is in very good plus condition with some ring, corner and edge wear.
The spine is in excellent condition and fully readable with some feathering.
Love’s Fourth album delivers a much rawer stripped down sound. The musicianship on the album is superb with guitar solos that are equal to Hendrix at his best.
Arthur Lee is also in fine form as singer/songwriter. Regarded by Love fans as a minor masterpiece, Arthur Lee proved he was still capable of brilliance regardless of personnel changes.
THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THE UK 1ST PRESSING SO DON’T MISS THE CHANCE OF OWNING A RARE PIECE OF ROCK HISTORY!
PLEASE VISIT MY OTHER ITEMS AS I REGULARLY LIST RARE ORIGINAL LPs FROM JIMI HENDRIX, LED ZEPPELIN, LOVE, WHO, CREAM, PINK FLOYD, BOWIE, ETC... AS WELL AS INDIE CDs FROM THE LAST DECADE.
Visually-graded vinyl: A visual grading will identify physical flaws (such as scratches) and can help determine whether a record has been cared-for properly. A visual grading will not identify noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources. Most of the records I sell are between thirty and sixty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect.
