Description
Is this the greatest album ever? Possibly!! Is this the greatest copy? Probably not! What you have here is an extremely early copy on ORANGE ELEKTRA with A1/B1 matrices.
Having just test played it the vinyl is near excellent - just a slight bit of a crackle in the run in to track 1 side 2 and some imperceptible surface noise on Alone Again Or which doesn't affect it in any significant way. The appearance of the vinyl does not really reflect the sound quality - it has many small marks on it but no scratches and doesn't skip or jump.
The cover is fully intact but a little grubby and I would grade at the lower end of very good if that makes sense. The sleeve has " manufactured in Great Britain by Polydor Records Limited, London" in the bottom left hand corner. The spine is slightly displaced but fully legible with some minor splits in the laminate.
Again, this is not a museum piece. It has been well played and thoroughly enjoyed over the last 45 years. Please do not bid if you want a Mint copy.
The record will be sent in a proper record mailer with cardboard stiffener and posted by Royal Mail First Class Signed For.
