Historic 1st UK black label!
Thanks for looking at this listing for the Beatles Love me do label. For the purposes of my sales descriptions, and to avoid negative feedback, consider all discs to be very good+/-. Some will play/sound better than this. None will be mint.
If it's trashed I will say so!
Discs will be free from significant warps, and will sit flat on the turntable unless stated.. Labels will be free from graffiti/stickers/sticker residue unless stated.
Records have been play tested and will be free from jumps/sticks unless otherwise stated. Records have been cleaned whilst playing with a brush arm, but will usually benefit from further cleaning.
Up for grabs today is: - Love me do/PS I love you. 1st UK Black label pressing.
MPZT tax code in run-off. There is a faint tax code in the push-out centre-possibly a P or T
Mothers/Stampers= 1RT/1RP
The labels a clean, free from graffiti, sticker residue, ink marks, but show some spindle wear and a few pock marks on the B side(see pics).
The record has a very pleasing sound, with minimal run-on/run-off noise. I listened this afternoon without headphones, no sticks/jumps. Grading very good. This is from my own collection, having been replaced by a copy with a slightly tidier label.
Original and correct Parlophone bag is included, VGC. No tears/graffiti
These black label copies are much more scarce than the red label counterpart, often numbering only a handful, or less, on ebay each month. Please note, the photos do not do this record justice. There is some reflection which makes the disc look scratched. I will revise these pics.
I sell to fund my own passion for Beatles records and thus these will not be top copies, usually sold on as upgrades have been found. The will rarely come with original sleeves.
