ABBOTT LP 5001 JIM REEVES SINGS
This is the rarest of all Country Music records!
                                            The following describes the record in detail.  You can bid with confidence as my FEEDBACK RATING is: 100% POSITIVE!  
JACKET:  VG.     Front:  Colors are rich and true and are free from fading.  There is slight ring wear at top, sides and bottom that can be closely scrutinized in provided picture.                             Back:  Ring wear less evident than front.  Some fading of ABBOTT lettering at bottom center.  Also, there is a 1" X 2" area near the top center/left                                         where part of cover surface is abraded.   All in all, the condition of both back and front are quite remarkable considering the age of this LP.  1955.                           Seams: All seams are intact, however, they are starting to show stress in several areas.  LP is carefully stored in sealed plastic cover to reduce further wear.
RECORD: VG+   Both sides of the WAX retain much of the factory luster and shine!  This is a very RARE beauty.  Both sides show some scuffing;  indeed most of the marks                                  on this record are scuffs.  These do NOT penetrate the wax surface and rarely, if ever, have any adverse effect on the sound.  Perfect records are quite                                  rare, even new they can contain abrasions.  This record does have some light scratches, as I'm sure you would expect given its age.  However,  This is                                                    a fine collectible and would be an asset to anyone's collection; Jim Reeves or otherwise.   A few spindle marks but looks lovingly played and cared for.                                 BID WITH CONFIDENCE!
