This record has been cleaned and played through completely both sides on a Thorens Turntable as well as visually inspected under a bright halogen desk lamp to provide an accurate grading.
LP’s are packed outside their covers to guard against ring-wear & splits during transit and then placed inside a plastic outer protective sleeve for safe delivery.

CONDITION
VINYL : two sides of the tale here…Side 1 :- glorious / shiny throughout / no marks / no pops, skips or sound blemishes / plays perfectly with a crisp and clean sound / no lead in-out hiss / only lightly played and a strong EX+
Side 2 :- just as perfect sound-wise / no pops, skips or sound blemishes / plays perfectly with a crisp and clean sound / no lead in-out hiss / only lightly played BUT does have a lighter and hazy appearance and not the jet-black shine of the flip-side
OVERALL : a great thick slab here / plays through a treat and too good to let go at thgis bargain price for a 1st pressing
LABELS : clean
SLEEVE : very tidy / no writing or splits / no creasing and the spine is intact / being un-laminated there is a touch of age-wear on the front and the faintest beginnings of ring-wear on the back however I attribute this to 34 years of shelf-wear / the corners are square / the inner gate-fold covers present nicely / more than acceptable
DESCRIPTION
A more than decent 1st pressing blue ‘roo’ label of this monster-headbanger LP from AC/DC …their 4th album from 1977 with Bon Scott on vocals…..and another blistering rocker.As is the case with most of their early albums this Aussie issue differs from overseas releases by way of ‘Crapsody In Blue’ included in the place of ‘Problem Child’ ( which is found on the Aussie release of the ‘Dirty Deeds’ album). From what I can best determine ‘Crapsody In Blue’ was never included on any issues outside of Australia.
A timeless hell-raising classic for fans …in great condition too!

The presence of Angus Young's mighty Gibson SG looms over the album like a sheet of lead on a windless day. The inclusion of longer songs like "Go Down," "Dog Eat Dog," and the floor rattling "Let There be Rock," all feature ripping interplay between Bon Scott's perverse howl and Young's straight for the throat guitar lines. Where others hint at hormone-driven themes of lust and adolescent rebellion, AC/DC revel in them with abandon. Thus "Bad Boy Boogie" and "Crapsody In Blue" are songs your parents are sure to hate with heartfelt passion. The album's highlights are "Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be," a mighty fist-waver whose references to warmer climates are something that only the most uptight will take seriously and the near classic "Whole Lotta Rosie," which would become one of the band's live staples and show-stoppers.SONGS
