german original, great and hard-to-find record, incl. funk-monster “onkel joe”!
recorded at “Studio 70” Munich, this 3-piece lays down some soulful funk-jazz-fusion grooves, occasionally helped by a percussionist. Max jr. keeps things interesting by rapid keyboard-switching, from Fender Rhodes to Moog to Acoustic Piano to Hammond and back, and inbetween even to the Mellotrone!!! Cool breaks en masse, plus several Antolini drum-soli!!
CALIG is an obscure german label, quite unknown even overhere, specialized in jazz (by high class artists), but also classic and religious (!) records.
germany – EUR 4,50
europe (incl. UK) – EUR 7,50
from germany worldwide – USD 14,- (despite what mentioned otherwise)
