Recording Label: Columbia Release Date: 1959 Catalog Number: CL 1370 Runout Side 1: XLP47456-1B Runout Side 2: XLP47457-1B
Album Notes: A first mono pressing of Mingus Ah Um issued by Columbia in 1959.  Record features the distinct 6-eye red label, as was standard for Columbia's early releases during the years of 1959-1962. 
Record is overall in EXCELLENT condition with a VERY GOOD+ Cover.
  • Vinyl: E and has light dust and faint smudges. Vinyl is bright and shiny, still has a good luster. Overall looks barely played. Label is mildly scuffed. Plays clean. 
  • Album Cover: VG+ and has retained much of its original detail and color. The front exhibits mild scuffing and subtle indentations while the rear is mildly soiled and toned from aging. Exhibits wear to the finish of the seams. Corners exhibit moderate wear with creases to the front bottom left corner while a small portion of the finish is missing from the remaining corners. 
  • Interior Dust Sleeve: Appears to be original, tanned with aging and creased. 
  • Album may exhibit additional minor signs of age or wear.
  • Record would benefit from professional cleaning.
