This auction is for an original classic LP by Chuck Berry, titled “Chuck Berry's Greatest Hits”.
This album was put out on the Chess Records label, LP-1485 Monaural in 1964.
This record is an original 1964 (1st pressing), with the "monogramed knight" red & gold Chess Label.
The record & jacket are in very nice condition.
Record label is clean with little to no wear. The spindle hole is near perfect.
The LP itself is conservatively rated at very good plus+ condition. Only under the brightest of light can you find small scratches and small scuffs. Plays well throughout.
Cover listed as Very Good+. No split’s, writing, tape or other repairs.
All edges are fine with no chipping. Only wear is aging.Like most "dark" or in this case dark "blue" color covers, you get a lot of scuffing.
Overall…a nice LP and a good way to get a bunch of Chuck's hits on one record.
