TRACKS

The Amazing Mrs Shufflewick, part 1

Don't Have Any More Mrs Moore

Mrs Shufflewick's First Monologue

Permissive Twit

The Amazing Mrs Shufflewick, part 2

Don't Dilly-Dally on the Way

Mrs Shufflewick's Second Monologue

"Mrs Shufflewick is a dirty old woman. She is 60, maybe 70, weak willed and easily led. Everybody laughs at her. They call her "Shuff", they whistle and poke fun and cheer when she hoicks up her skirts."

"Rex Jameson is an elf. A five foot, 40 year old with a face like Buster Keaton. And a little green cap on his head and a coat that is too big."

So reads part of Molly Parkin's sleeve notes from the LP............. "A Drop Of The Hard Shuff.. "

Released by Decca Records in 1973 the record features Mrs Shufflewick Live At The New Black Cat and is one of the most sought after of all British Comedy records and is a great collectors item.

This record is really hard to find in any condition, so this is a rare opportunity to own a real collector's item!

If you are a collector of classic British comedy this album is a real must! Your collection is incomplete without it!

================================

CONDITION:

Disc: Slight damage to one tiny area about 1cm into S2.

Hairlines visible in strong light

Quite a few spindle marks on both labels.

The disc has been played quite a few times.

Slight signs of handling.

No other actual visual imperfections.

Sleeve: Slight ring-pressure to front.

Glazed finish shows very slight signs of age.

Hint of discolouration to rear.

Edges and corners fine.

POSTAGE

(A NOTE ABOUT UK POSTAGE)

I use a strong purpose made mailing envelope to send LPs.

These cost about £0.40p each.

I remove the disc from its sleeve to avoid seam splits resulting from movement in the post.

I pack the disc in a poly liner and then insert two stiff cardboard squares to stiffen the package to avoid damage in the post.

The package now costs £2.51p to post within the UK.

Add in the 40p for the mailing envelope and you will see that 9 pence is left over for my time and a certain amount of parcel tape!

UK: £3

EU/SCANDINAVIA: £5

USA:  £6

REST OF WORLD: £7
