DAVID BOWIE

THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD

I bought this LP new in November 1972.

Insert - David Bowie poster, blank back.  Never fully unfolded.

Deadwax:

Side 1:  BPRS-4512-1S - A l H              R

Side 2:  BPRS-4513-1S - A l D               R

Pressing Rings 26mm

Vinyl weight 3 3/8 oz, 96-97g

R - RCA Rockaway Pressing

Originally released on Mercury in 1970.

This copy is certainly an early if not 1st RCA 1972 pressing.  On line sources say it was released in November 1972, and that’s the month I bought this copy.

Nice stuff.  Fairly limited backup, accentuating Ronson’s guitar work.  More Rock than Glam.

Super nice copy of earlier Bowie.
