CONDITION
VINYL : brilliant / plays through perfectly with a crisp and clean sound / no pops or skips / only very lightly played and difficult to fault / rated EX+ and very pleasingSLEEVE : glorious / clean both back, front and inside / the corners are square / no edge-wear or splits and the spine is intact / no ring-wear / no writing / no creases / as good as it ever gets and Near New.
GIANT POSTER : superb / rarely seen the light of day / unmarked / no residue stains / no creases or writing and again Near New.
DESCRIPTION
A very tidy original 1984 Australian only release of this Elvis LP pressed on blue vinyl and, in keeping with the theme, containing 19 songs with the word ‘Blue’ in all song titles.This laminated sleeve 1st issue (this was released equally in laminated & un-laminated forms) seldom surfaces nowadays and more often than not someone has souvenired the poster which is now deemed collectable in it’s own right.
Fortunately this set is complete and will make a terrific addition to any collection.
’Elvis Blue’ was re-issued for a short time 3 years later on a tan coloured label however the sleeve was non-gatefold and there was no accompanying poster. The poster here by the way unfolds to an impressive 33cm X 23cm size.
Rarely seen now in this condition complete with poster.
