********************************* A magnificent and decidedly rare Aussie ‘World Record Club’ ( and Mail Order Only release) issue of this 1969 debut solo album from Sydney outfit The Flying Circus.
As with all WRC issues this comes with a unique and alternative sleeve design and labels.
Produced by Mike Perjanik this effort certainly is an odd mixture of styles. Alongside the band's original country-rock numbers they included their pop hits and a medley of songs from the popular musical Hair … though there’s no debating the class of the group , especially on the Byrds cover ‘So You Want to Be a Rock and Roll Star’ … this album is like wtching the band at the crossroads and not sure which direction they will take … country rock won out in the end.

Vinyl : Never played and MINT.
Labels : Clean. No spindle-hole traces.
Sleeve : Excellent. The laminated front shows a little discolouration along entrance side (see photos above) while the back shows a touch of ring-wear. The spine is intact. No writing, edge-wear or splits and quite pleasing for this rarity.
