Description
The LP was recorded in 1962 and not issued at the time - clearly madness, why would anyone not release a Freddie LP, particularly one where the rest of the quintet is Wayne Shorter, Cedar Walton, Reggie Workman and Philly Joe Jones!. It first appeared (along with another Freddie Hubbard LP 'Hub Cap') as part of a double 'Blue Note Reissue Series' LP in 1976. This auction is for the 1985 French version where the LP is released as originally intended with the Reid Miles cover and allocated catalogue number.
Excellent throughout but the cover is marked down due to a very small stain rear cover bottom right and the record company sticker rear cover top left. The LP plays through with no background noise.
