Es Amor - Irma Serrano Details Irma Serrano began her artistic career as a dancer in the choreographic group directed by the dancer Chelo La Rué. Later, Serrano began her career as singer when signing a contract with Columbia Records in 1962.
Irma Consuelo Cielo Serrano Castro (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈiɾma konˈswelo ˈsjelo seˈrano ˈkastɾo]; 9 December 1933 – 1 March 2023) was a Mexican singer, actress and politician. Famous for her "tantalizing" "untamed spitfire" voice, she was one of the most noted performers of the ranchera and corrido genres; she was nicknamed La Tigresa de la Canción Ranchera ('The Rancheras Tigress) and later known simply as "La Tigresa". Serrano became one of the most popular Mexican folk music artists of the 1960s. One of her most remembered songs is the corrido of 'La Martina,' considered a classic of the Mexican folk genre. 

In 1972, she starred in La Martina, inspired by her most popular song. In 1973 she starred in the fantastic film La Tigresa. In that same year, she worked in the film The Monastery of the Vultures of the filmmaker Francisco del Villar.[

In 1977, Serrano partnered with actor, producer, writer and director Alejandro Jodorowsky to perform the stage play Lucrecia Borgia. Nevertheless, the differences between the two caused a dispute that led to them independently producing their own versions of the work.

We understand that the grading system is very subjective, but we try to follow Goldmine guidelines.  Ask if you have questions - we're happy to supply additional images: 

• MINT: only used for sealed LP's as "assumed Mint." Sealed LP's are purchased at your risk. We are not able to  confirm the content of the LP, as it is sealed. If you open it - it is no longer in the same condition as it was sold and cannot be returned.
• NEAR MINT: record looks like it was opened for the first time. Writing, stickers or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any 'spindle marks.' Cover: same, no visual imperfections. Shiny, with no visible defects. May have original promotional stickers. 
• VG+ : some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Minor signs of handling such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole.  Cover: There may be some light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Should have only minor wear; it might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long). Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking or a small name inscribed. 
  
• VG:  Groove wear is evident, as are light scratches that can be felt with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has some surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and ending; however, the noise will not otherwise overpower the music.
  Covers: will have obvious signs of human handling. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, though not overwhelming. Some more creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides, though it won't be obvious upon looking. Someone might have written on it or stamped a price tag on it, too.
  
• Good (G), Good Plus (G+): we will not offer LP's in this condition, unless it is clearly marked in the item description- and only then due to the scarcity of the title in the marketplace.
