Description
LP . JAPANESE . Pictures are of item . Not Stock photos . Rare records are play graded . Expensive record cleaners remove dirt and grime . Otherwise . They only polish sratches and groove damage . Groove distortion and scratches cannot be removed. Japanese records . Generally .Come out of the factory without surface noise . Often , the 80's pressings are best . Reissues . They are from the same masters . And are more likely to be less played . Easiest way is to look at the label for spindle tracks. A dead give away . Over , and done .
Modern records . French . Portugese etc... have built in surface noise . Generally German , Dutch and Japanese Lps have no noise . New American Classical Lps (Depending ) . New , often have the pressed in surface noise .
Grading scale . Grading determines price . NM - Sleeve and Record are almost as new . Light wear possible . EX - Excellent cover may have light wear , light handling . Record may have light marks . Light noise . VG - Cover will have noticeable handling wear , creases , light wear and tear . Record will show play , possibly scratches . Still playe through fine . P - Cover very wrinkled and worn , marks , tears creases . Record will have definite surface noise . Scratches on the vinyl .
SLEEVE: EX+ RECORD: Play graded . Both sides have lighter amounts of surface noise . Plays EX . Light noise in quiet areas and in between tracks . One Label has a few spindle marks . Other has maybe 1-2 . Plays EX . Not EX+ or NM . OBI: EX INNER SLEEVE: INSERT: EX INNER BOOKLET : DECALS : POSTERS :
