Description

I believe this to be an original 1958 FIRST PRESS of this HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE LP BY THE GREAT JOHN COLTRANE.  Here are the issue points:
203 South Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ on both jacket and label RVG stamped on both matrices - matrix numbers:     Side A;    PRLP - 7142 - A     Side B:    PRLP - 7142 - B
Additionally, there is a stamped "E" on Side A and "A" on Side B
Jacket with light to moderate edge and corner wear, splits top edge 3" center and bottom edge 2" center, no marks or rings, light soiling back jacket.  LP stored without inner sleeve, one added for listing.  Light scratches seen on clean vinyl, I'll visually grade in the range of VG+ to VG++.  LOOKS QUITE PLAYABLE.
