Jon Stevens - Self-titled second solo album from 1982
Stevens is a New Zealand-born singer who moved to Australia in the early 1980s. His unique voice has come to major recognition through his work as the front man of Sydney band Noiseworks and later as a replacement for Michael Hutchence at INXS.
The album never reached significant record sales, and this particular version from Big Time Phonograph Recording Co. (a subsidiary of the Australian Wizard label) seems to be the scarcest of them all.
There is nothing that indicates where the record has been produced. Australian pressings usually have the matrix number printed on the labels (MX-...) and information about where it is pressed, printed or marketed. No indication is given here.
Rating The record itself is in immaculate condition - not even surface noise. The outer sleeve has some minor edge and ringer, while the inner sleeve only has very slight edge wear.
