Description
ULTRA RARE FIRST RECORDING BY THE LLOYD MCNEILL QUARTET, produced by ASHA Recording Co. of Washington DC in 1969. Here are the matrices:
Matrix / Runout (Side A runout): ASHA-1A Matrix / Runout (Side B runout): ASHA-1B
Note: the discogs listings has these additional characters on Sides A and B, respectively: "? BG AudioMatrix" & "? BG AudioMatrix". There are other indistinct markings on Sides A and B of this record - I cannot say what they are but they could be remnants of rub-outs of these markings.
The tight shrink, with only a small tear bottom edge from opening, less than 1", has kept the jacket in EXCELLENT CONDITION, only light wear at jacket opening. LP stored in borrowed vintage Epic inner sleeve, LOOKS PLAYABLE but with light visible scratches and light visible scuffs, I'll grade VG+.
