DESCRIPTION : Love was a highly acclaimed rock act that burgeoned from the late 60's psych scene. Influenced by The Doors, they put out three wonderful albums before problems caused the band to break up. We have a bunch of nice, funky numbers here like “Time Is Like A River,” “With A Little Energy,” and the Steve Miller meets T-Connection funker “Who Are You?.” The real treat is Lee’s unexpected cover of “Be Thankful For What You Got.” The vocals aren’t as sweet, but the faster tempo makes for a nice mixtape addition.
