original LP  MAXWELLS :  maxwell street ( 1969 ) ; MPS 15242, Germany 1969 !!! , 5 long tracks  -  extreme rare !!!

- condition:   mint-  ( record )  /  fold-out cover has only a bit wear on seams, otherwise it's mint-

- only released in Germany !!!

 

This album contained an eclectic mixture of psychedelia, beat and jazz-rock in the vein of the similarly styled debut of BURNIN' RED IVANHOE. Both albums represented something entirely new in Danish rock. Today the MAXWELLS' album stands out as a forgotten gem, containing rich instrumentation and lots of wild solos. The longest track "maxwell street" sounded like a continuation of the strangest moments of Rolling Stones' Their satanic majesties request. Sadly the MAXWELLS broke up at the beginning of 1970.
