DJ Mad Mike Metrovich was a Pittsburgh area DJ in the early/mid 60's (and beyond) who ignored the
popular sounds of the day & played only the most obscure & the wildest of the Rock N Roll pounders ,Squonkin' Instros,
Raw Soul, RnB Movers, Psychobilly, Garage No-Counts,Jungle Jumpers & Teen-Age Make Out music to a
frothing teen-age fan base yearning for the "Monsters" as only Mad Mike could bring 'em!!

He made huge hits in Pittsburgh of tunes that were mostly ignored elsewhere: Psycho by The Sonics,Goo Goo Muck
by Ronnie Cook,Chop Suey Rock by The Instrumentals,Anyway You Wanta by Harvey,etc....he even broke Hanky Panky nationally.
