Description
The closest I could find on discogs matching the features of this LP and jacket was a 1961 Mono repress. It was not an exact, so here are the specifics of this version:
Specific to this version: • On the back cover: Tracks B1 and B2 reversed (but are in correct order on label) • "Adderley" misspelled as "Adderly" front and back jacket • On the labels: "CBS" in small black letters appears under "Columbia" at the top • On the labels: "Kind Of Blue" is in bold font and split between two lines • On the labels: The track titles are left justified (as opposed to center justified)
and the matrices are:
Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, stamped): XLP47324-1BJ P Matrix / Runout (Side B runout, stamped): XLP47325-1BC P
Note: There is also two vertical lines like II etched on Side A and one vertical line I etched on Side B.
Jacket with light corner wear, little to no edge wear, no splits or rings. Previous owner magic-marked name on back jacket. LP stored in original colorful Columbia jacket which is fully split on one side, and split in the middle about 4" on bottom edge. LP LOOKS PLAYABLE with a few light scratches and scuff marks, nothing feelable, over clean vinyl. I might grade it in the range of VG+ to VG++, but to be conservative, I'll leave it at VG+.
