I bought this LP new in March 1971.
Cover - Shrink on. Price tag on shrink. Cutout grommet hole at top left corner. No writing, no cover splits. Very minor shelving/handling evidence.
A Discogs entry notes a cover variation, which I think this is. When looking at the back cover, it does not fit flush with the front cover. There is an extension of 2mm by the underside of the front cover. What we call the spine printing does not extend to the spine. Had this been folded properly the spine would have been black with white lettering.
Vinyl - Some rubbing/smudges, a few marks. Nothing that affects play.
Sleeve - Elektra yellow/gold paper. I think it’s the original. Has same address on the sleeve as the back cover.

I didn’t play this too often so you’re getting a very clean copy.
Nico plays the harmonium and sings her own songs. John Cale gets to work out on the viola and maybe all the other instruments here.
Wikipedia has an extensive article on this album. Some very funny comments by people involved with its production, especially John Cale. The reviews ranged all over the place since this came out.
Nico front and center on a well-kept album.
