I bought this LP new in January 1976.


Cover - Shrink on.  Price tag on shrink.  Little nick to cover, top, center.  No writing, little other shelving/handling evidence. Light ring wear.


Vinyl - Some rubs.  Lists sides as A and B on labels.  Sides 1 and 2 on back cover.


Sleeve - Plain white paper.

The artisan logo is an oval with two diagonal lines from center to below the oval.  Some call it a drum head with sticks.


This baby is not your life of the party record.  One story on wikipedia has “You Forget To Answer” as Nico’s ode to Jim Morrison.  Her genuine tribute is her version of “The End.”


The basic audience for this effort will always be those who hoped for a VU 1 replay.  But Cale had been on his own for several years by now, and had collaborated with Nico on previous albums.  Teaming up with Eno, Manzanara, and Nico on harmonium, he continued into a new direction.


This may well be a 1st pressing.  Pressed by Columbia’s Santa Maria plant in 1974, it is the only US pressing with this catalog number.  At least I can’t find any others.
