LP PINK FLOYD THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON SHVL804 UK 5TH PRESS - Excellent AUDIO.


Overall this is a very clean record, with excellent audio.  Definitely one to play and enjoy.

For me the 5th press is one of the best sounding pressings, better in my opinion than the 2016 remaster.

Harry Moss knew what he was doing.


Visually, the vinyl has a few hairline marks from removal from the sleeve - seen under a strong light.  The quality of the vinyl comes across as you drop the needle.  Hardly any background noise as the heart beats begin.  Sound is clear and full on from the off.  Vocals are clear, the separation excellent and the sound stage on this copy is lovely.

There is the occasional background static and a very occasional click, yet it is all pretty quiet and no way over powers the music.


Sound grading is excellent +.

The inner labels are clean.


The outer sleeve is not perfect. No rips or tares.  I would say normal shelf wear for an item of this age.  Just not perfect.

Spine shows little wear, some light creasing.  Ringwear, well, more the shape of the LP is starting to show.  Looks like a small price sticker removal on the front - pictured.

I would grade as Very Good.

Only one opening to the sleeve on this copy.


Posters are unusual.   They are French...this I can not explain.  They are in excellent plus condition, no rips or anything, nor any blue tac stains. Printed with 'MSP, Imp en France'.


Inner is non original.  Black poly lined replacement.


If it's a good listen you are after then this copy comes highly recommended.
