"Journey to the Centre of the Earth" (Catalog No. SP-3621) is the third solo album by legendary keyboardist Rick Wakeman, released in May 1974 on A&M Records. It is a landmark of "symphonic rock," recorded live at London's Royal Festival Hall on January 18, 1974.
The album is a musical adaptation of Jules Verne's 1864 science fiction novel, featuring a massive ensemble that includes a rock band, a full orchestra, a choir, and a narrator.
