SAM GOPAL (LEMMY MOTORHEAD) ESCALATOR  - ORIGINAL 1970 VOGUE (German) RELEASE
An original 1970 release on Vogue International of the acclaimed Escalator album featuring Leemy who found "fame" in Hawkwind and  Motorhead.
Cover: Excellent+. Vey good condition despite being over 40 years old! Varnish slightly rough on the spine but otherwise a fine glossy sheen for this gatefold sleeve.
Vinyl: Excellnet+. This is a copy that has been played very little. It sounds great and has just a few fine hairlines on otherwise lush vinyl. Does not look anything like its age.
On 28th April 1967 the band performed at The 14 Hour Technicolor Dream at Alexandra Place along with a host of "hip" acts including Pink Floyd and The Pretty Things. They later played with Hendrix. After breaking up they reformed in 1968 but this time with Lemmy on vocals!
