Description

We lost Doug Sam, of the Sir Douglas Quintet & the Texas Tornados, this day in 1999. Got to see him in concert a couple times. Once as the Sir Douglas Quintet and once as the Texas Tornados. It had to be when I saw him as the Sir Douglas Quintet, that I had him and Augie Meyers sign a couple albums. Had it been with the Tornados, I would have had Flaco sign this LP too, as he appears on a couple cuts. Not only is record signed, but it's a promo (you can see the sticker). Also appearing on a couple songs is Bob Dylan. The selling point is that it's autographed by Doug and Augie, and Doug ain't gonna be signing anything again, anytime soon. The record is in great shape. No visible defects. You're paying for the autographs, the fact that it's a promo and condition. There's a couple clippings inside. You can have them.
