Description
This is an exceptionally rare genuine 1st UK pressing of the classic Small Faces LP "Ogdens Nut Gone Flake" in excellent condition.
This LP is a genuine and very rare 1st Stereo press, released before the pink label copy that is often claimed to be the first press. This can be seen as the labels are on grey/lilac stickers. The matrix numbers are IMSP 012 1Y/2Y (later copies have 1Y-2) and has the KT tax code stamped in the centre (Try and find another). The original fold out sleeve has the patent application number on the rear. It has "For amazing results this should be played at full volume" on the labels.
The record is very clean overall with only a few very light scuffs that do not affect the sound. The labels are pretty clean with only a few very light spindle marks. It easily plays Ex/EX+
The sleeve is in fantastic condition and comes with original liner and is NM/EX+ condition. Very rare to find in this condition. Please have a good look at the photos. This is really an exceptional copy of possibly the very rarest pressings of this classic album.
