ORIGINAL AUTHENTIC 1964 BLACK LABEL MONARCH PRESS OF Introducing the Beatles, Vee Jay VJLP 1062. It has these features and matrices found on discogs for this press:
Identifying Characteristics: - Labels: all black, with silver 'VJ' caption and lettering. - Back cover: includes "Please, Please Me" (with comma) and "Ask Me Why" - Labels have "Side 1" and "Side 2" in upper and lowercase letters. - 'I Saw Her Standing There' starts with Paul's saying "Four!"

This is collectible for what it is, but it is also clear this was a "well loved" LP. There is red ink markings on both sides of the jacket, including naming the Beatles on the front jacket, lines through "Introducing.." on the front and back jacket, and so on - see listing photos for these ink markings. The jacket has moderate to heavy corner wear, light to moderate edge wear, no splits, very light ring seen around the ink markings on both sides. The LP is stored in a plain white inner sleeve. There is much spindle hole wear, and the surface has the typical sheen of light to moderate scratches of well loved Beatles LPs. I'll grade F because there are no deep feelable scratches. I would not purchase if you are desiring playability, only if you are interested in the collectible value of this AUTHENTIC version of Introducing the Beatles.
