THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL VEE-JAY RELEASE OF, INTRODUCING THE BEATLES.
It is the mono version, VJLP 1062, and it is a "Version II" mono version - more details on this below. It is being offered here FOR COLLECTOR VALUE MAINLY (OR ONLY), AS IT IS IN WORN CONDITION. The jacket's top and bottom edges are not fully, but mostly split with substantial wear, less but still wear on the spine. There is a user name magic marked and inked front and back (Darlene), a ring on front jacket, light scrapes and light soiling as seen in listing photos. I've seen worse records, but this has a sheen of scratches on both sides, a few faintly feelable. I do not expect reasonable playability and am visually grading it as Fair.
In a useful comprehensive discography and price guide for authentic versions of this LP, the cover is identified by the code, VJ 1062 (2).MC1A, with the characteristics, "titles on back / "Please Please Me" with no comma". The label is identified by the code, VJ 1062 (2).MR2D(i), with brackets around the logo and the colorband, and the description, "left justified titles / indented credits / "LONGPLAYING" one word:.
SO A RARE EXAMPLE BUT ONE BEST CONSIDERED A COLLECTION FILLER - LP IS LIKELY NOT WELL PLAYABLE.
