I bought this LP new in April 1969.


Cover - Shrink on, but an arc of it missing on back, top left.  No writing, no tears to cover.  Circled “E” on back is on shrink.


Vinyl - Light rubs.  White fan STEREO label.


Sleeve - Clear plastic

The back cover says a booklet is included, but I don’t have it.  Not sure I ever did.  So, no booklet with this album.


What is included are the introductions of Fred McDowell and Forest City Joe.  This was my first hearing of McDowell.  When “Drop Down Mama” played I had to check the listing to be sure there was only one guitarist on the cut.

Forest City Joe is a treasure.  Closest artist to John Lee “Sonny Boy” Williamson I’ve heard.  What a tragedy we didn’t get more of his work.  An auto accident!  


This is an excellent copy of an excellent record.
