LP: The President (Lester Young) Plays With The Oscar Peterson Trio, Norgran, Mono,1956, Classic Jazz
Norgran and Clif Records, were produced by Norman Granz a producer/impresario of American jazz music, especially in the 1950s and 1960s. The Norgran is a very rare label and one of the first american jazz label.
The is 200 gram high quality vinyl that resists scratching better than new vinyls in 70’s.
The sound quality is as good as any Van Gelder pressing

The record has been played regularly and has some visible surface marks, but no major deterioration in the quality of sound when played. When played loud, I heard a few ticks Side A end of track 1. Light crack between some track and random ticks in quiet parts. The music is very powerful and over comes most defects VG+. The cover surface is excellent condition with light surface and edge wear. I rate as EX.
