Description
London NP-2 with Lenticular (3-D) front cover, ORIGINAL 1967 ISSUE, RARE COPY WITH THIS FEATURE DESCRIBED ON DISCOGS: "On labels the catalog number is in much larger text than on most other Mono versions"
The matrices are:
Matrix / Runout (front side runout, etched): ARL 8126-1H Matrix / Runout (back side runout, etched): ARL 8127-1H
Jacket moderate corner wear, light edge wear, a split top edge back gatefold about 5" from opening, no further splits. Very faint ring back gatefold, and the previous owner inked his name on the back jacket in the text box upper right hand corner. The LP is stored in the original red inner sleeve, creased but unsplit. I will be conservative and grade the record in the range of G to VG. There is a very good amount of clean vinyl on both sides, and with this amount of clean vinyl, I would most often grade VG+. However, there are also numerous scratches seen, and one on Side 1, there is a scratch that while not deep or feelable, does cut across several of the songs.
It's more of interest because of the original lenticular front cover and rare label variation of the extra large "NP..." catalog number.
